Khaset Cruises operates two elegant Dahabeays designed for journeys in Upper Egypt
El Markeb
El Markeb is our newest dahabeya on the Nile, launched in 2026. Built with a traditional two-masted design, she offers a comfortable and quiet sailing experience along the river.
The boat features eight double cabins, including two suites, all with private en-suite bathrooms. Interiors are simple and elegant, well suited to rest after days spent exploring temples, villages, and riverbanks.
A spacious deck with shaded seating areas offers space to read, share stories, or watch daily life unfold along the Nile. The indoor dining area, surrounded by large windows, keeps guests closely connected to the river throughout the journey.

El Karnak
El Karnak follows the same philosophy as El Markeb: traditional sailing, quiet travel, and a close connection to the Nile. Designed for smaller groups, she offers a comfortable and well-balanced way to explore Upper Egypt.
El Karnak has six double cabins, including two suites, each with a private en-suite bathroom. Cabins provide a calm and comfortable space after days spent onshore.
The shaded deck, furnished with comfortable seating, is the main shared space onboard — a place to rest between excursions, observe the river, and enjoy the slow pace of sailing. Guests benefit from attentive service, freshly prepared meals, and engine-free navigation whenever possible.
