Nile Dahabeya Journey (2025 / 2026)

Experience Upper Egypt in an intimate way, traveling between Luxor and Aswan with the calm rhythm of a traditional Nile dahabeya. Whenever possible, the journey is made under sail, combining ancient history, villages, and breathtaking landscapes, with the option to include a visit to Abu Simbel.

For travellers looking for a full Egypt experience, we suggest a 10-day trip to combine the highlights of Cairo and Upper Egypt for a complete and well-balanced journey. Begin with two nights in Cairo, including guided visits to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the Pyramids of Giza, and the archaeological complex of Saqqara. The journey then continues with the 7-night Nile Dahabeya experience, traveling between Luxor and Aswan.

Time onboard is often spent on the shaded upper deck, where guests can observe daily life along the Nile. Palm trees, fertile gardens, arid desert landscapes, and Pharaonic temples unfold along the riverbanks, revealing the contrasts that shape Upper Egypt. Private cabins provide comfort throughout the journey, offering a quiet place to rest between days on the river and onshore visits.
